The deepest dive in US history at that time made the Guinness Book of World Records. Also in an earlier Guinness Book of World Records my dad is mentioned for holding his breath longer than anyone in the world at that time. I have a copy of the page in my hope chest in Texas and I'm not there, sorry. The written beginnings for the Deep Quest are quite interesting.
